THE AVID ASTrONOMEr

Hello. My name is Tom Campbell, and I am the Avid Astronomer. Amateur Astronomy has been a hobby of mine for about as long as I can remember. I've always had an interest in space and science.

One of my earliest memories was watching the Apollo Moon landings on my parents' blank & white television. Though only a toddler, I was enraptured by the sight of astronauts bouncing around on the Moon.

In January 2014, I was selected to be a NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador (SSA). This is a volunteer position, but I receive training and materials to enable me to give presentations about the latest NASA robotic space missions. If you would like me or another SSA to give a presentation for your group, please contact me at the link at the bottom of this website.
