This little galaxy is often overlooked, being near the much more famous M13. Tonight, it was faint, but easily detectable. The best view was at 88x, where it looked like an elongated oval, with the long axis roughly pointing toward M13. |

This galaxy is large, nearly filling up the field of view at 88x. The central core was large, with 2 or 3 stellar bright spots within it, but I'm not sure whether they were H-II regions or foreground stars. The spiral arms could be detected as an extremely faint glow, but no structure could be seen. |
